Northampton Town defender Zander Diamond may be out for six weeks after fracturing his cheekbone in three places against Peterborough United.
Diamond was injured when trying to win a header in the Posh penalty area in the first half of the 1-0 defeat.
The 31-year-old has played 24 matches for the Cobblers so far this term.
"We will look at potentially getting masks made for him to get him back sooner," boss Rob Page told BBC Radio Northampton.
