Jamie Vardy red card: Leicester City may appeal against sending off

Leicester City will consider appealing against striker Jamie Vardy's red card in Saturday's draw at Stoke.
Vardy, 29, is set to receive a three-match ban after being sent off for a 28th-minute tackle on Stoke midfielder Mame Diouf.
The Potters went on to take a 2-0 lead before Leicester rescued a point with two goals in the final 15 minutes.
Ranieri, when asked if he will contest the red card, said: "I don't know, let me think. If it's possible, yes."
After tussling with Glen Johnson, Vardy jumped and made the tackle with both feet on Diouf but won the ball, and the contact the Leicester man made with the Stoke player was with his shins.
Referee Craig Pawson deemed it dangerous enough to issue a red cad and Vardy will miss games against Everton, West Ham and Middlesbrough unless the appeal is successful.
"He wants to challenge and get the ball, not make a foul," said Ranieri.
"There was a big challenge between Johnson and Vardy. He touched the ball. Maybe it was yellow."
Stoke boss Mark Hughes disagreed with the Italian, saying: "I've seen it and it was a two-footed challenge.
"The lad left the floor and I don't know what Leicester are complaining about. From my point of view it was clear."
'Rubbish' - Was it a red card?
Ex-Chelsea winger Pat Nevin on BBC Radio 5 live: "When he goes with his two feet - they were off the ground - he didn't seem to hurt Diouf but that didn't matter in the referee's eyes. I wouldn't have quibbled had they shown Vardy a yellow."
Former Leicester striker Dion Dublin on Final Score: "Rubbish. The referee has got that completely wrong. Vardy makes the tackle. He has no intention of making the tackle with two feet at all. It is 100% wrong."
Ex-Tottenham striker Garth Crooks on Final Score: "Craig Pawson has fundamentally misunderstood what has gone on. Vardy left the ground with two feet but he has done that in order to get to the ball.
"He won the ball and Diouf gets out of the way. Vardy makes no contact. He has been anything but reckless. Referees are making big decisions with the little teams because it seems to be easier."
Match of the Day presenter and former Leicester striker Gary Lineker on Twitter: "I may be biased but a ludicrous red card has been shown to Vardy."
Former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise on Twitter: "Vardy red card? No chance! Not even yellow! Shows how big the difference is between referees and the rules! Pathetic."
Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy on Match of the Day: "I don't think it's a red card. I think Vardy is very unlucky.
"Glen Johnson pushes Vardy a bit - he does leave the ground but he ends up winning the ball and it's actually a decent challenge."
