Calum Flanagan: Solihull Moors sign ex-Aston Villa defender from Hednesford Town

Calum Flanagan had joined Hednesford Town from Redditch United in June

National League Solihull Moors have signed former Aston Villa trainee Calum Flanagan from Northern Premier League Premier Division club Hednesford Town.

The 24-year-old versatile defender, born in Birmingham, will be eligible for Boxing Day's visit of Chester.

He has also previously played for Kettering Town, Hinckley United, Worcester City and Redditch United.

He worked under now-Solihull boss Liam McDonald at Hednesford prior to the manager's switch to Moors in November.
