Samir Carruthers: Sheffield United sign MK Dons midfielder for undisclosed fee

League One leaders Sheffield United have signed MK Dons midfielder Samir Carruthers for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Blades.

Carruthers, who started his career with Aston Villa, scored four goals in 94 league appearances for MK Dons.

"He is an attacking midfielder who can fit into a number of positions and we are looking forward to introducing him to our great group," boss Chris Wilder told the club website.
