Aly Cissokho: Aston Villa loan ex-Liverpool defender to Olympiakos

Aly Cissokho has made 12 of his 58 Villa appearances this season, but only two since Steve Bruce became manager in October

Aston Villa have loaned defender Aly Cissokho to Greek Super League side Olympiakos with a view to a more permanent deal in the summer.

The 29-year-old Frenchman signed for Villa from Valencia for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal in August 2014 after a season on loan at Liverpool.

He is the third player moved on by manager Steve Bruce in January.

Rudy Gestede was sold to Premier League side Middlesbrough and keeper Pierluigi Gollini has joined Atalanta on loan.
