Sheffield United have signed Chesterfield winger Jay O'Shea on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old Irishman scored 40 goals in 197 appearances for the Spireites after joining them from MK Dons in January 2013.

The former Birmingham City trainee will be a free agent in the summer.

Meanwhile, the Blades have completed the signing of Bradford striker James Hanson, 29, for an undisclosed fee on a deal until June 2020.

Hanson scored 77 goals in 281 league appearances for the Bantams after joining from non-league side Guiseley in 2009.
