Rob Hunt: Brighton defender joins Oldham Athletic on loan

Rob Hunt has featured eight times in all competitions for Brighton this season

League One side Oldham Athletic have signed Brighton defender Rob Hunt on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old full-back has progressed through the Seagulls' youth academy and made his first-team debut in the EFL Cup in August.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton said he wanted Hunt to go out on loan when he signed a new deal in October.

He is eligible to make his debut for the Latics against Bradford City at Boundary Park on Saturday.
