Josh Lelan: Crawley bring in ex-Northampton defender

Josh Lelan helped Northampton Town win the League Two title last season

League Two side Crawley Town have signed former Northampton Town defender Josh Lelan on an 18-month deal.

The 22-year-old made 13 appearances for the Cobblers last season but was released at the end of the campaign.

Lelan has had trial spells at Gillingham, Plymouth and Leyton Orient since leaving Northampton.

The Kenya international, who can play at right-back or centre-back, began his career at Derby and has featured for the Rams' under-23 side this season.
