Theo Robinson: Southend United re-sign Lincoln City striker for undisclosed fee

Theo Robinson scored for Lincoln City in Saturday's 3-1 FA Cup fourth-round victory over Brighton

League One side Southend United have re-signed striker Theo Robinson from Lincoln City for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

The 28-year-old scored seven goals in 21 appearances for the Shrimpers during a loan spell at Roots Hall in 2009.

The former Derby County and Doncaster Rovers player has scored 71 goals in 313 career league matches.

Robinson had helped the Imps to the top of the National League and into the fifth round of the FA Cup.
