Ryan Yates: Shrewsbury Town sign Nottingham Forest midfielder on loan

Ryan Yates scored two goals in 19 games during his loan spell at Barrow

Shrewsbury Town have signed Nottingham Forest midfielder Ryan Yates on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at National League side Barrow, scoring twice in 19 appearances.

Boss Paul Hurst told the club website: "The boy did extremely well for Barrow in his loan period and they went on a tremendous run."

Yates could make his debut for Shrewsbury against Bury on Saturday.
