Truro boss Lee Hodges says his players "look up to" Stuart Yetton, who scored his first goal since returning to the club in their 3-2 win over St Albans.
The 31-year-old former Plymouth striker rejoined the National League South side on loan from Weymouth on 10 February.
"He's great to have in the dressing room and you can see the passion he puts in," Hodges told BBC Cornwall.
"When he's out there tackling that leads everyone forward, everyone wants to tackle and be on that front foot."
Aaran Pugh and Tyler Harvey got the other goals as the Cornish side moved up to 15th, eight points clear of the relegation zone.
"Stuart Yetton got his millionth goal I think," joked Hodges. "He's scored quite a few for the club in the past.
"He's still getting his fitness levels back but I just think, on and off the pitch, the players look up to him."
