Mansfield Town: Jimmy Spencer, Paul Digby & Paul Anderson join League Two club

Jimmy Spencer scored three goals in 17 appearances during an injury-hit 2016-17 season for Plymouth

Mansfield have signed Plymouth striker Jimmy Spencer, former England under-20 international Paul Digby and ex-Nottingham Forest winger Paul Anderson.

Former Notts County forward Spencer, 25, will officially join when his contract runs out on 1 July.

Digby, 22, who plays in defence or midfield, joined Ipswich Town in January 2016 but only played 12 games.

Anderson, 28, left Northampton earlier this month following a year-long spell at the League One club.

The length of the trio's contracts have not been revealed.
