Rochdale: Reece Brown joins from Bury as Jim McNulty stays

Reece Brown is Rochdale's first signing ahead of next season

Rochdale have signed defender Reece Brown on a one-year deal and have agreed a new contract with Jim McNulty.

Ex-Manchester United trainee Brown, 25, was released by Bury after spending the second half of last season with them.

He is the younger brother of former England centre-back Wes Brown and has also played for Watford, Barnsley and Sheffield United.

Defender McNulty, 32, has signed a contract extension with the League One club until June 2019.
