Gillingham have signed striker Tom Eaves on a two-year contract following his release by Yeovil Town.

Eaves joined Yeovil ahead of last season after leaving Bolton, and scored four goals in 40 League Two games last season.

The 25-year-old started his career at Oldham before joining Bolton in 2010.

Meanwhile, winger Elliott List, 20, has agreed a new contract to stay with the Gills until the end of the 2017-18 season.

List made 19 appearances last season as they finished 20th in the League One table.
