Crawley Town 2-0 Yeovil Town

Jordan Roberts scored a goal in each half as Crawley clinched back-to-back victories for the first time in nearly seven months with a home win over Yeovil.

Midfielder Roberts fired Crawley into a 12th minute lead with a well taken strike from 15 yards after an attempted defensive clearance from Connor Smith was blocked.

Roberts had previously fired narrowly wide from the edge of the area before Crawley's Dutch forward Enzio Boldewijn was denied in a one-on-one situation with Polish keeper Artur Krysiak.

Yeovil striker Francois Zoko should have tested keeper Glenn Morris early on, but dragged his shot wide.

Crawley doubled their advantage six minutes after the interval when Roberts netted his second, tapping in a pass from Boldewijn after a ball over the top from Lewis Young.

Yeovil were denied on 62 minutes when defender Nathan Smith had a goal-bound header saved by keeper Glenn Morris following a free kick from Otis Khan.

Roberts had a late free kick held by keeper Krysiak as Crawley clinched their first home win under head coach Harry Kewell.

Substitute Jordan Green shot into the side netting for Yeovil six minutes from time as Darren Way's side suffered their third successive away defeat.
