Doncaster Rovers 1-2 Shrewsbury Town

Arthur Gnahoua's injury-time strike, his first EFL goal, snatched victory for League One pacesetters Shrewsbury Town at Doncaster.

Shrewsbury were on course to maintain their unbeaten status when Joe Riley quickly cancelled out Tommy Rowe's first-half opener for Rovers.

But it got even better for them when substitute Gnahoua strolled through the Doncaster defence to slot home deep into added time.

The home side took a deserved lead after 35 minutes when Rowe drilled in from 20 yards after a fine lay-off from John Marquis.

But, before the hosts could settle on their lead, they lost it just a minute later when, from the restart, Shrewsbury surged forward and full-back Riley smashed in off the far post from the corner of the box.

Carlton Morris should have put Shrewsbury ahead, heading straight at goalkeeper Ian Lawlor but Doncaster were the stronger side after the break.

Alfie May, Marquis and Rowe all had good chances but, just seven minutes after entering the fray on 88 minutes, Gnahoua broke home hearts to help maintain Town's record as the only unbeaten side in the EFL.
