Falkirk and fellow Championship strugglers Inverness played out a goalless draw at the Falkirk Stadium.

The home side, managed for the first time by Paul Hartley, had the better of the early chances with Alex Harris and Joe McKee threatening.

Caley's Liam Polworth had two efforts kept out before Falkirk's Jordan McGhee and Joe Chalmers went close.

John Baird fired wide for Caley and Myles Hippolyte also narrowly missed the target for the hosts.
