Hartlepool United 1-1 Tranmere Rovers
- Published
Hartlepool had to settle for a 1-1 home draw for the second successive National League game, this time against Tranmere.
Nicky Deverdics struck with a superb free-kick to give Pools the lead in the 50th minute.
But their lead was shortlived as Tranmere hit back seven minutes later through substitute Jay McEveley's header from a corner.
The point did little for either mid-table side, with Pools staying in 14th place and Tranmere dropping down to 16th.
