Stenhousemuir went fourth with a 2-1 win at Edinburgh City and Cowdenbeath v Clyde was called off.
At Links Park, Terry Masson scored a sixth-minute opener and when fellow wing-back Andrew Steeves scored early in the second half the game was safe. Jamie Redman added a third.
Liam Caddis put Stirling in front early away to Annan, who levelled late on through Brandon Luke.
Stenhousemuir led at Edinburgh City with a Harry Paton goal, and though Marc Laird equalised, Mark McGuigan restored the visitors' advantage just before half-time.
