Winger Dougie Imrie and defender Alex Gogic have signed contract extensions with Hamilton Academical.

Imrie, who has been an ever-present for Accies this season, will remain at the club at least until the end of the 2018-19 season.

The 34-year-old has been team captain this season while defender Michael Devlin was sidelined through injury.

The 23-year-old Gogic, who has played 16 times this season, has committed his future to Accies until 2020.

Gogic, a former Cyprus Under-21 international, joined Accies after leaving Swansea City in July 2016.

Imrie has scored three goals and contributed five assists for Martin Canning's side this season.

He started his second spell with the Scottish Premiership club after leaving Greenock Morton in 2014.

Imrie started his senior career with Clyde before moving on to Inverness Caledonian Thistle ahead of his first, two-year spell with Accies.

He moved on to St Mirren in 2012 and then spent a year with Morton the following season.
