John Hartson rounds on Swans' lack of 'plan B' over Clement sacking

Former Wales striker John Hartson has criticised Swansea City for lacking a plan B while sacking Paul Clement.
The head coach left with Swans bottom of the Premier League on three wins this term.
They are considering ex-Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer or former West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic as successor.
Hartson said: "Before you sack a manager, surely you've spoken to somebody that's in place, especially a manager that's currently out of a job?"
Long-serving former player Leon Britton is in charge as a caretaker for Swansea's home game on Saturday against Palace.
Britton was appointed to assist Clement on 13 November while continuing as a midfielder, replacing Frenchman Claude Makelele.
Hartson added: "To just go and sack Paul Clement without a plan B - I know Leon Britton was put onto the staff as well as staying as a player - he was going to do a little bit of coaching; you can say that's an emergency one, they've had to turn to Leon Britton.
"But before you sack a manager, surely you've spoken to somebody that's in place, especially a manager that's currently out of a job?"
Britton has ruled himself out of the permanent role, but Hartson believes he could have a change of heart if his caretaker period lasts longer than planned and is successful.
Hartson also believes Britton will attempt to rekindle the fluid style that marked their rise from the fourth tier of English football to the top flight.
He told BBC Radio Wales: "I think Leon will try to bring that back - Swansea playing with wingers and playing with a solid back four and players who can move the ball around the pitch and create chances for the strikers - that is the Swansea way.
"That is what previous managers have played like.
"Leon will try and implement his own ideas while he's got a chance and believe me, if Leon Britton wins three out of his next five games, he'll want the job. It's as simple as that."
However, Hartson does not consider himself a candidate, saying: "I'm not on their agenda."
The Swans are still hopeful of appointing a new manager before facing Crystal Palace - although Britton will be in charge for that game.
The 35-year-old will be assisted by youth coaches Cameron Toshack, Tony Roberts and Gary Richards.
