Luton Town 4-2 Lincoln City

Luton again showcased their League Two title credentials with victory over Lincoln in a fiery game which saw both teams reduced to 10 men.

The Hatters had Alan Sheehan sent off in the fourth minute, the defender seeing red for an off-the-the-ball incident with Matt Rhead, and Michael Bostwick hammered the resulting free-kick under goalkeeper Marek Stech from 25 yards.

Town levelled in the 32nd minute when Danny Hylton teed up James Collins to slam home from close range, but Lincoln were quickly back in front as Matt Green volleyed in just two minutes later.

Lincoln were reduced to 10 men themselves after 36 minutes, Harry Anderson receiving a second yellow for a foul on Andrew Shinnie, and Town restored parity two minutes before half-time as James Justin took aim from 22 yards and rifled into the bottom corner.

Luton then took the lead for the first time with 17 minutes remaining when Luke Berry's cross was converted by a stooping Hylton.

Substitute Harry Cornick then sealed victory with seven minutes to go, cutting in from the left and firing past Josh Vickers to end fifth-placed Lincoln seven-match unbeaten run.
