Ebbsfleet United 0-3 Boreham Wood
- Published
Boreham Wood put themselves on the cusp of the play-off zone with an assertive 3-0 win over Ebbsfleet at Stonebridge Road.
The Wood forged in front in the first half when Angelo Balanta unleashed a fantastic volley which flew past the outstretched hands of Nathan Ashmore.
Luke Garrard's men doubled the lead after the interval when Bruno Andrade's corner was not properly cleared and Jamie Turley fired through a crowd from outside the area.
Joe Quigley also netted when he broke clear, cut inside his man and dispatched confidently in the 66th minute.
Andrade had the luxury of missing a late penalty for Boreham Wood, smashing a thunderous effort off the crossbar.
