Guiseley 0-1 Gateshead
- Published
Wesley York's first goal in seven matches sealed Gateshead's win at bottom side Guiseley in the National League.
The visitors got back to winning ways after Saturday's 2-1 home loss to Fylde, with York on target for the first time since his New Year's Day goal in the 2-2 draw at Hartlepool.
York found the net in the fifth minute when Scott Barrow's volleyed pass picked him out and he beat his man before coolly slotting into the bottom corner of the net.
Guiseley's winless run stretched to eight games, with a sixth successive defeat another bitter pill for the struggling hosts.
