FC Halifax Town 2-1 Dagenham & Redbridge

  • Published

Two goals in as many second-half minutes saw Halifax come from behind to beat Dagenham & Redbridge.

Halifax had a good opportunity to open the scoring when Michael Collins started a swift counter-attack and crossed into the box, only for Raheem Hanley to rifle his shot over the bar.

Both teams continued to create chances as the first half wore on and Dagenham broke the deadlock when Charlee Adams' 35-yard strike was deflected into the back of the net.

The hosts flew out of the blocks after the interval, with Ben Tomlinson going close on three occasions before Nathan Hotte hit the bar.

Halifax levelled things up in the 68th minute when Dagenham's Jake Howells turned the ball beyond his own goalkeeper before Mike Fondop-Talom made it 2-1 one minute later.
