Cardiff City have completed the signing of Bristol City forward Bobby Reid for a fee reported to be £10m.
The 25-year-old scored 19 goals in 46 league games last term and also attracted interest from West Bromwich Albion and Derby County.
Reid's form last season saw him named in the EFL's Championship team of the year and he joins on a four-year deal.
"I think his best is yet to come, he's capable of scoring goals at the top level," Cardiff boss Neil Warnock said.
Warnock explained he is excited to land a player he has tracked for some time.
"I watched him when he was at Plymouth Argyle... when he was on loan there and I've watched him since then," he said.
"He can play in a couple of positions for us; we haven't really got anyone who can play at the front of the diamond other than [Callum] Paterson and I think we need another option there, which Bobby gives us.
"Also he can play right up front and it's an area I have been looking at.
"People like him and Josh Murphy [the winger signed from Norwich City] are hungry, I've got to get hungry players now and they're both really looking forward to the challenge."
"I'm delighted to be here and to be a Premier League player," Reid added.
"I want to show my high energy and work rate, as well as being creative and working for the team. I'm buzzing to get started."
