Stevie Mallan: Hibs sign midfielder from Barnsley on four-year deal

Hibernian have signed midfielder Stevie Mallan on a four-year deal after agreeing an undisclosed fee with Barnsley.
The 22-year-old left St Mirren for Oakwell last year but made just nine appearances for The Tykes.
He previously played more than 100 times for the Buddies and was capped five times by Scotland Under-21s.

"The club obviously had a good season last year and I want to be a part of that moving forward.
"I didn't get much game time last year and I want to be back playing. The recruitment team at Hibs and the gaffer made me feel really wanted, which made me feel that this was the ideal place for me.
"It'll be hard joining a team that's been doing well but I'm looking forward to getting started and trying to get a place in the side and it's a challenge that I'll relish.
"I always enjoyed playing at Easter Road, it's a great stadium when full and I'm sure it will be even better playing for the home side there."
Neil Lennon's Hibs, who finished fourth in the Premiership last season, have already signed Florian Kamberi and Adam Bogdan this summer.
Forward Kamberi, 23, formalised a move from Grasshopper Zurich following a loan spell last season while goalkeeper Bogdan, 30, has joined on loan from Liverpool.
Hibs start their season in the Europa League first qualifying round, hosting Faroe Islands side NSI Runavik in Thursday's first leg.
Mallan could feature in Sunday's home friendly against Blackburn Rovers, a testimonial match for defender Paul Hanlon.
Announcing the player's departure, Burnley chief executive Gauthier Ganaye said "a profit has been made on the deal and we will retain an interest in Stevie's future".
