Swansea City complete signing of Sunderland winger Joel Asoro

Swedish winger Joel Asoro made 29 appearances for Sunderland last season

Swansea City have completed the signing of Sunderland winger Joel Asoro on a four-year deal.

The 19-year-old Swedish forward joins the Swans for an undisclosed fee.

Graham Potter is a long-time admirer of Asoro from his time at Ostersunds FK and has made him his first signing since being named Swansea manager.

"I have watched Swansea play in the Premier League and I enjoyed seeing them play football, that's the way I like to play football too," said Asoro.

"I am looking forward to working with him [Graham Potter]. The main thing for us is to try to get the club back to where they belong."

Asoro made 29 appearances for the Black Cats last season, scoring three goals.
