Jacob Maddox: Chelsea loan midfielder to Cheltenham Town, who add striker Manny Duku

Chelsea have loaned attacking midfielder Jacob Maddox to Cheltenham Town for the season, while the Robins have also signed Hayes & Yeading United striker Manny Duku.

England Under-20 international Maddox, 19, is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea but has played in their Under-21 EFL Trophy side.

Netherlands-born Duku, 25, has signed an undisclosed-length contract.

He scored 39 times for Hayes & Yeading last term, including 33 league goals.

"Jacob is a real talent," Robins boss Gary Johnson said., external "He is a quality attacking midfielder who can open up defences with his passing and running prowess.

"Manny is a great lad who scored a lot of goals last season and who is determined to take this chance. He is very humble and very athletic."

Maddox joined the Premier League club from his hometown side Bristol City and has won FA Youth Cup and Uefa Youth League titles at Stamford Bridge.
