Scott McKenna: Swansea enquire about Aberdeen centre-half

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes says Scott McKenna is "too good" for the Championship after confirming that Swansea City have made an enquiry for the centre-back.
McInnes does not expect the Welsh club to make a bid for the 21-year-old.
The Pittodrie manager said that, while Swansea had been in touch, no official approach had been made.
"For me, Scott will go straight to the Premier League, in time. He will by-pass the Championship," McInnes said.
Speaking before Thursday's Europa League second-leg qualifier at Burnley, McInnes said he "does not expect" the Welsh club to make a formal bid.
He added: "If they do then it's not something we would be encouraging. I'm not saying he's not for sale, but any offer will need to be way over the top.
"It is not a matter of if Scott McKenna leaves Aberdeen, it is when, and obviously I would rather that be further down the line."
McKenna made his first-team breakthrough last season after coming through the Aberdeen youth ranks.
He quickly became a regular starter and earned the first of four Scotland caps in March, before captaining the national team against Mexico in June.
Swansea have identified him as a potential replacement for Alfie Mawson, who is poised to join Fulham after their promotion to the Premier League.
And McInnes insists he sees McKenna as potentially just as good.
"Having spoken to Scott often enough, Scott sees the importance of keeping playing games," McInnes said.
"Swansea have just sold a centre-half for £18-20m and, for me, Scott has the potential to be even better than the boy who's just left.
"We are well aware of his abilities and that the vultures are circling. He passed his first test against Burnley last week and I'm sure there will be people looking at him again."
