Lincoln City 3-1 Notts County

Lincoln climbed to the top of League Two and piled the pressure on Notts County manager Kevin Nolan with a 3-1 home win.

Skipper Lee Frecklington fired the Imps in front with a spectacular volley, but County levelled through Andy Kellett.

Bruno Andrade restored City's lead and then teed up Harry Anderson for the third goal early in the second half as the rock-bottom visitors' winless start to the campaign stretched to five league games.

Frecklington struck on seven minutes with a stunning first-time volley from 20 yards.

Out of the blue, the Magpies conjured up an equaliser - Enzio Boldewijn earned a free-kick just outside the box and, from a position more suited to a cross, Kellett's set-piece crept into the far corner of the net.

The Imps regained the lead before the break with another impressive strike as goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons flapped at the ball under pressure from John Akinde and Andrade volleyed home.

Lincoln added a third 10 minutes into the second half - Michael O'Connor was fouled in the build-up but still managed to shift the ball wide to Andrade, whose cross was turned home by Anderson.
