French side Monaco have signed Belgium international Nacer Chadli from Championship club West Bromwich Albion for a reported £10m.

The 29-year-old winger had not featured for the Baggies this season and was keen to move away from The Hawthorns after the club's relegation in May.

Chadli scored six goals in 36 league appearances for West Brom.

The fee received will allow Albion boss Darren Moore to target new signings before Friday's loan transfer deadline.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough are understood to be interested in West Brom striker Hal Robson-Kanu.

However, the Baggies have no intention of loaning the former Wales forward to a rival, so Boro would have to come up with an acceptable cash offer for a player who has already scored twice this season.
