There are fierce battles going on at both ends of the Premier League table at the halfway stage

With the Premier League season at the halfway stage, we've been asking you to predict how the table will look in May.

Tens of thousands of you got involved and the results are in, with Liverpool overwhelmingly tipped to win a first top-flight title in 29 years.

Jurgen Klopp's side were backed to finish as champions by 64% of you, with just 25% saying defending champions Manchester City will retain their title.

You are predicting Tottenham and Chelsea to make up the Champions League places, with Arsenal just missing out and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer guiding Manchester United to a sixth-placed finish.

At the bottom, there is good news for Burnley, who are tipped to overtake Cardiff and finish 17th, which would be enough to retain their Premier League status. If BBC Sport readers are right, it will be relegation for Fulham, Cardiff and Huddersfield.

Here's the predicted table in full:

1. Liverpool

2. Man City

3. Tottenham

4. Chelsea

5. Arsenal

6. Man Utd

7. Everton

8. Leicester

9. Watford

10. West Ham

11. Wolves

12. Bournemouth

13. Brighton

14. Crystal Palace

15. Southampton

16. Newcastle

17. Burnley

18. Fulham

19. Cardiff

20. Huddersfield
