Football postponements: Weekend schedule affected by winter weather

The midweek football programme in England was unaffected, despite the start of a spell of wintry weather in the UK

Six English Football League matches have been postponed because of snow and freezing conditions in the UK.

In League One, Accrington v Blackpool has been called off following a pitch inspection on Saturday morning.

Five League Two matches are off - Cheltenham v Cambridge, Swindon v Forest Green, Oldham v Morecambe, Crewe v Carlisle and Port Vale v Tranmere.

National League matches at Boreham Wood, Ebbsfleet and Maidenhead are all postponed because of frozen pitches.

Sunday's Women's FA Cup fourth-round ties at Durham, Reading, Stoke City and Charlton were called off on Saturday.
