Scott Carson: Man City complete loan deal for Derby goalkeeper

Manchester City have signed former England goalkeeper Scott Carson on a season-long loan from Derby.
The 33-year-old, who counts Leeds, Liverpool, West Brom and Wigan among his former clubs, passed a medical on Thursday.
Carson will join City as Pep Guardiola's third-choice goalkeeper behind Ederson and Claudio Bravo.
City will also sign 19-year-old defender Pedro Porro from Girona, their sister club in Spain.
It is anticipated that City will pay an initial fee of around 6m euros (£5.5m), before immediately loaning him to Real Valladolid for the season.
Carson has spent the last four seasons at Pride Park, helping the Rams reach the Championship play-offs on three occasions.
And he arrives in Manchester with City having already allowed Kosovo goalkeeper Arijanet Muric to join Nottingham Forest on loan.
"It's an honour to have signed for City on loan," Carson said.
"It's something I didn't expect but an opportunity I simply could not turn down. To be part of this squad - the Champions of England - is a dream come true.
"I can't wait to see Pep's work on the training field up close. What he has achieved in his management career has been amazing, and it's every player's dream to play under him."
Carson won four England caps between 2007 and 2011.
