Macclesfield Town have made four more summer signings on the same day.
Goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook, 25, who was offered a new deal by Shrewsbury after ending last term at the League One club, has signed a one-year deal.
And the Silkmen have also made three loan signings from Championship clubs.
Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Connor Kirby, 20, Birmingham City full-back/midfielder Corey O'Keeffe, 21, and Nottingham Forest striker Virgil Gomis, 20, are all on season-long loans.
Macc boss Sol Campbell has now made all five of his permitted loan signings following last month's arrival of Fleetwood Town defender Eddie Clarke and Wigan Athletic keeper Owen Evans.
Barnsley-born Kirby, who has been on the Owls' books since 2011, has made four substitute appearances for Wednesday, two in the league and two in the EFL Cup. He extended his contract in March 2018.
Republic of Ireland Under-19 international O'Keeffe, who made his one Blues first-team appearance as a substitute at Newcastle in December 2016, made 14 appearances during a half-season loan with Solihull Moors in 2018-19.
Gomis is on his third loan deal, having spent a month at Braintree, then the second half of the season at Notts County, who were edged out by Macc in the end-of-season relegation battle.
Former Arsenal trainee Charles-Cook has made 76 appearances in spells with Bury, Coventry and Swindon, but did not make an appearance at Shrewsbury.
Macc, who began the new League Two season with a late loss at Exeter last week, host Leyton Orient on Saturday.
