FC Halifax Town 0-2 Yeovil Town
- Published
Halifax fell from the top of the National League table as Gold Omotayo's double earned Yeovil victory at The Shay.
The Swiss opened the scoring inside four minutes, blasting the ball into the roof of the net on the rebound after Myles Hippolyte had struck the post.
Surprisingly it was the away side who dominated and goalkeeper Sam Johnson worked overtime to keep Fax within touching distance.
Tobi Sho-Silva helped revive the Shaymen after the interval, hitting the post with a low drive. Jeff King also clipped the woodwork.
It was harsh on Pete Wild's men when Yeovil doubled the lead. Johnson this time spilled Matt Worthington's cross and Omotayo profited.
