AFC Fylde 3-2 Wrexham: Subs Dan Bradley and Nick Haughton give Coasters edge

  • Published

Half-time substitutes Dan Bradley and Nick Haughton scored to help Fylde come from behind to keep fellow strugglers Wrexham in the relegation zone.

Defender Jake Lawlor, back from a four-game ban, gave Wrexham the perfect start when he turned in a free-kick.

Danny Rowe levelled after a mistake from keeper Christian Dibble, but Jason Oswell restored Wrexham's lead.

Dibble was again at fault for Bradley's shot from the edge of the area, before Haughton's curler sealed victory.

Wrexham manager Bryan Hughes said:

"I feel the pain of the supporters. They want us to win games, I want us to win games, we're trying our best to win games.

"I don't think our effort and commitment was questionable tonight but the fans still have their say, they want the team to be performing week in week out.

"Every week we're trying to turn this season around... we find ourselves in the bottom four, albeit whether people think it's down to performances, tactics, whatever, we are in there."
