Jadon Sancho left out of Borussia Dortmund squad after late return

England teenager Jadon Sancho was left out of Borussia Dortmund's squad for Saturday's 1-0 win over Bundesliga leaders Borussia Monchengladbach after returning late from international duty.
The 19-year-old, who featured in both England's recent Euro 2020 qualifiers, was omitted by Lucien Favre for disciplinary reasons.
The forward has recorded four goals and seven assists for the club in 2019-20.
Marco Reus scored the only goal against Gladbach to lift Dortmund up to fourth.
Favre's side are level on points with third-placed Bayern Munich, who were held to a 2-2 draw at Augsburg earlier on Saturday.
Sancho started the Three Lions' 2-1 defeat by the Czech Republic on 11 October and came on as a second-half substitute in Monday's 6-0 win over Bulgaria.
In 2018, Sancho and Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden were dropped for England Under-19s' European Championship qualifier against Latvia for being late.
