Conor Shaughnessy: Burton Albion sign defender on loan from Leeds United

Conor Shaughnessy had been on a season-loan loan with Mansfield this season and made 19 appearances for the Stags

Burton Albion have signed defender Conor Shaughnessy from Championship side Leeds United on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has made 15 appearances for Leeds and has also spent time on loan with Hearts and Mansfield.

He joins Nigel Clough's Burton with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

"I really liked what the manager had to say and it seems like a really good set-up here," Shaughnessy said.
