Ross County have signed centre-back Coll Donaldson from Highland rivals Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The centre-back has spent the past two seasons with the Scottish Championship club, having previously played in the top flight with Dundee United.

Donaldson, 24, could make his debut in Saturday's Scottish Cup fourth-round tie at Ayr United.

"Coll is a player we have admired for a while and we are delighted to bring him in," read a Ross County statement.

"We identified Coll as a player that we feel can add something to our group and we believe by coming here, he can play his part in what we are trying to achieve."

Donaldson joins Exeter City midfielder Jordan Tillson, who also completed a move to the Dingwall club on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old defensive midfielder played 136 games in seven-and-a-half years with English League Two side Exeter City.

"Jordan has had great experience in English Football," a County statement said. "He came to us very well recommended and we really look forward to him joining up with the group."
