Wycombe said a male supporter was taken ill in one of the lounges at Adams Park
Wycombe beat Blackpool in a game which kicked off more than an hour late after a man was taken ill at Adams Park.
An air ambulance landed on the pitch to deal with a medical emergency, with the supporter taken to hospital for further treatment.
It was agreed the match would start at 20:50 GMT, with the hosts racing into a two-goal lead thanks to Nick Freeman and Alex Samuel.
Paul Smyth and David Wheeler went close to extending Wycombe's buffer before Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall pulled one back on his Blackpool debut from 20 yards to set up a nervy finish.
Victory sees Gareth Ainsworth's Chairboys move up to second in League One, with the Tangerines remaining 15th in the table.
