Newport lost on penalties to Salford in the semi-final of the EFL Trophy in midweek

Newport County came from behind to dent Bradford City's hopes of achieving a League Two play-off berth.

Clayton Donaldson gave Bradford the lead midway through the first-half but it did not last long as Ryan Inniss headed Newport level minutes later.

And five minutes later County were ahead when Scot Bennett rifled the ball past Richard O'Donnell.

Jake Reeves came close to an equaliser when his shot deflected off the bar, while Bennett almost scored a second.

Bradford have now only won once in their last 11 league games.
