Solihull Moors 3-0 Dover Athletic

  • Published

Callum Howe scored twice as Solihull Moors boosted their National League play-off hopes with a comprehensive victory over fellow promotion-chasing Dover Athletic.

It was a first win as manager for Jimmy Shan, who took over the hotseat earlier this month and suffered defeat against Dagenham & Redbridge in his first game.

Moors needed a slice of luck for the opening goal, a free-kick going in off Aaron Simpson for an own goal in the 36th minute.

But they made sure of the points in the second half as defender Howe netted in the 70th and 82nd minutes.
