Aldershot Town 3-2 Boreham Wood

  • Published

A double from Kodi Lyons-Foster and a Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong goal saw mid-table Aldershot defeat third-placed Boreham Wood in the National League.

Kane Smith gave the Wood the advantage in the 13th minute when producing a left-footed cross into the box which avoided any interference and found the far corner of the goal.

Lyons-Foster then provided Aldershot with an equaliser after 53 minutes, collecting the ball from a corner and heading it home past Nathan Ashmore.

The centre-back followed that effort with another in the 68th minute, again connecting with a corner to head home his second goal of the game.

Berkeley-Agyepong then claimed a third for the home side, striking past Ashmore and into the far right corner to create a deficit too wide to be closed by Adam May's 86th-minute goal for Aldershot.
