FC Halifax Town 0-2 Woking
- Published
Woking boosted their National League play-off hopes with victory at promotion rivals Halifax.
First-half goals from Max Kretzschmar and Jake Hyde sealed victory for the Cards, who are now outside the top seven only on goal difference and just three points adrift of their opponents.
Kretzschmar converted a 15th-minute penalty after he had been brought down in the box.
Hyde had already stung the palms of Halifax goalkeeper Sam Johnson when he fired home from Moussa Diarra's knock-down at a free-kick.
Devante Rodney hit the crossbar for Halifax in the second half but they were unable to salvage anything from the game.
