Aldershot Town 0-1 Dagenham & Redbridge

Mitch Brundle left it late to fire Dagenham to their first away win since September as Aldershot's long unbeaten run at the Recreation Ground ended with a 1-0 defeat.

The improving Daggers, who memorably won the reverse National League fixture 6-1 in November, climb a place to 18th while Aldershot slip to 17th after losing at home for the first time since October.

Dagenham's Matt Robinson produced the best attempt on goal of the first half when he spotted Mitch Walker off his line but watched his shot veer just wide.

Shortly before the break, Alex Reid pounced on a bouncing ball in the Aldershot box only to miss the mark by inches.

Chances went begging at both ends after play resumed, Elliot Justham keeping Dagenham alive with fine saves against Harry Panayiotou and Louis Walker, with Aldershot's namesake keeper Mitch Walker later denying Liam Gordon.

With four minutes remaining, Brundle scored the winner by meeting substitute Myles Weston's cross and slotting home.
