AFC Fylde 1-2 Notts County

  • Published

Fylde sit second-from-bottom in the National League after falling to a 2-1 defeat by Notts County.

The Magpies' Enzio Boldewijn curled in a free-kick for the opening goal after 13 minutes, producing a low strike that flew beyond the reach of Fylde goalkeeper Sam Hornby.

The hosts responded swiftly, however, with Jordan Williams picking up a deflected ball and finding the bottom corner of the goal to equalise in the 18th minute.

Adam Long then sealed victory for County by connecting with a Jim O'Brien corner to head home his first goal for the club with 14 minutes remaining.
