Solihull Moors 0-1 Hartlepool United

  • Published

Substitute Aidan Keena scored the only goal as Hartlepool won 1-0 at Solihull Moors to boost their chances of reaching the National League play-offs.

Rob Harker went close for Pools in a goalless first half while at the other end, keeper Ben Killip denied Jake Beesley after Timi Odusina's error.

Beesley threatened just after the hour with a shot against the post, with Terry Hawkridge unable to convert the rebound.

Hartlepool's Gime Toure fired Ryan Donaldson's cross just wide and was soon replaced by Keena - who broke the deadlock from Macauley Southam-Hales' cross with four minutes remaining.
