Alex Dyer: Kilmarnock boss 'chuffed' to continue as right-back Aaron McGowan signs

Alex Dyer says he is "well pleased" to be continuing as Kilmarnock manager after agreeing a two-year deal.
And Aaron McGowan will become the first signing since Dyer's permanent appointment, with the defender arriving on 1 July from Hamilton Academical.
Dyer, 54, took caretaker charge in December when Angelo Alessio was dismissed and was then given the job for the rest of the season.
"I'm happy, chuffed with the news. I can't wait to get going," Dyer said.
Dyer, who steered Kilmarnock to an eighth-place finish last season, first came to Rugby Park as Steve Clarke's assistant and continues to work with Clarke as Scotland number two.
"The club's been good to me and let me get on with what I needed to do. I'm proud and I love the club," he added.
Dyer added he would "always be grateful" to Clarke for first giving him the opportunity.
Former Rugby Park defender Andy Millen will be the club's new assistant boss, with Massimo Donati having left the coaching staff over the weekend.
Main shareholder Billy Bowie told the club's website, external Dyer had provided "stability at a crucial time last season", adding the board "will support him as much as we possibly can when the transfer window opens".
Right-back McGowan, meanwhile has agreed a two-year contract with Kilmarnock and will join once his deal expires at Premiership rivals Hamilton.
The 23-year-old, who made 67 appearances in two seasons with Accies, said: "At this time in my career I felt like Kilmarnock was the right move for me.
"I spoke with James Fowler and the Gaffer about what they think I can bring to the club and they really made me feel wanted, which really helped sell me on the move."
